Over at BFC BootCamp, we have a nutrition section titled What’s On Our Plate or WOOP. I’d like to bring that over to CFW but this first installment will be focused on What’s NOT On Our Plate.
A lot of us at CFW choose to adopt a Paleo eating style. You’ll hear things like Paleo plus dairy or Paleo plus this or that. There are even times when we take groups whole hog through a Whole 30 Program– 30 days of Paleo plus nothing. Squeaky clean eating that has the potential to change your life!
The key word is choose. We’re making a choice to eat this way. Nobody is forced to make sweeping changes. Nobody has to eat Paleo to train with us. But…
If you have the goals most of us do when we start a workout program- weight loss, muscle tone, better health- then Paleo is the crazy, fast train to Healthville. All that plus it’s super simple:
Eat meat, veggies, some fruit, good fats (olives, olive oil, avocados, coconut, some nuts).
Don’t eat sugar, grains (wheat, rice, oats, etc), legumes or dairy.
The payoff?
Better sleep
Better skin
Weight loss
Improved digestion
Increased performance
Yea, I’m in!
