Sven Gone Bad has been a WOD now 3 out of 5 years. It’s looked a little different each time. We’ll kick Sven 5 off with this WOD. It’s 5 solid minutes of work. Your teammates will follow you into the workout at one minute intervals. Your team goal is max reps.

Ground to Overhead = Clean & Jerk or Snatch

Box Jumps may be jump or step.

KBS is an overhead swing.

SB = Sandbag

This year, 3 to 4 teams will make the final (3rd) WOD based on total placing score in the first two. Accumulated placings will matter, including the 3rd WOD, to find the overall winner. For example:

Team 1

WOD 1- 1st place
WOD 2- 6th place
WOD 3- 2nd place

Total points- 9

Team 2

WOD 1- 3rd place
WOD 2- 2nd place
WOD 3- 3rd place

Total points- 8

In this scenario, Team 2 wins Sven 5 based on better placings overall. In other words, every place in every WOD matters.

Schedule/Heats

We’ll stick pretty well to the schedule. All teams should be ready at 8:20 for movement standards for WOD 1. If you’re in the first heat, please make sure you get there in time to get warm.
